ive had this problem for about 2 months now, The anti pollution message and engine management light keeps coming on and then goes off after some time, like once i was driveing on the M40 and the pollution message and engine light came on and stayed on and i noticed the car went abit sluggish just to stay with traffic speed i had to put my foot all the way on the peddle until it reached 70 to 80mph were i kept it until i reached my destination.

then the following day i started the car and the message and light stayed off so i started my journoy again back down the M40 and after some time the anti pollution light and engine light came back on and went sluggish again but i kept driveing on.

its a peugeot 307 hdi 2.0 litre.
51 plate.
128 miles on clock.

please can anyone help because every mechanic have there own veiw.... this filter, the cat, some liquid might be low, but all off them say  its gonna cost around 600pounds finding the fault and fixing it.

Hi,
have the same problem occur on my 53 plate 307 Dturbo 97k on the clock, as I was driving along the same eml light and  fault warning came up and the revs are limited to under 3000 rpm. Sorry to hijack your thread but interested in any feedback you get as I am out of work at present and hope this wont be too expensive to fix.

Any PUG Specialists in Essex I would be interested in contacting

I'm having issues with my car, i suspect my airflow meter is playing up, i disconnected it and an anti pollution fault came up, reconnected it and it was ok, so maybe faulty or dirty airflow meters sensor can cause it, worth a look maybe.

Hi

Issues sound quite familiar but I can't say i've notice a loss of power on mines (not to say its not happened as its been a strange month filled with a lot of small journeys)

Not sure if you have your problem sorted yet. I've a 2.0 HDi on a 04 plate and its current in the Peugeot garage in Newcastle. 1st visit was 4 weeks ago when they replaced the glow plugs and the air temperature sensor. The glow plugs are not the issue here from what I can make out reading round the peugeot forums and they are not used in the DPF regen process, but with one having to be left to soak in oil overnight to be removed, it needed sorting. Air Temp sensor being replaced hasnt removed the fault although it did for about 1 mile of driving when i picked it up. After 4 weeks of the Anitpollution message and engine management light coming on with about a total of 5 days where it wasnt coming up, I think its pretty safe to say its not that. Went into the garage on Friday and spoke with the mechanic beforehand because I wanted to rule out the DPF itself and they've confirmed the DPF is ok. They've come back and said it was the airflow sensor at fault. Just waiting on the sensor being delivered on Tuesday so will let you know how it goes.

replacement of airflow sensor from main peugot dealer is costing 138. fully fitted.

had the car back a week now. Fault seems to have been cleared by the replacement of the air flow meter. fingers cross it has worked!

My wife's had the same fault except hers didn't go into limp mode. Took it to the dealer who replaced the heated Lambda sensor. It's been ok since.
