hi, i need help, my peugeot has been having problems when gear is on parking and engine is running, the gear box makes click sound and then the gear box will stuck itfself. i can not move the gear at all. normally i have to restart the engine then the gear can be moved.

but today, same problem happened , the gear stuck, turned off the engine and try to restar it, however, it would not retart, now the car has been taken away by the garage. i saw some body had same problem with 307, can any one tell me what happened? is it a serious problem? what is the solution?

I don't know about your gear box problem but my 2005 307 failed to start recently as fuse to ignition switch had blown (20a)
Replaced fuse and it blew again next day. Went to Peugeot dealer who put in 25a fuse. It is known fault when starter motor begins to age , and there has been Infoflash from Peugeot about it apparently.

When in parking position press the Brake and then when u put in Drive ;release the brake. By not putting the foot on brake can cause the gearbox to get stuck Razz
