could anoyone help with my problum ive noticed when driving my car its kinda missing i know it sounds daft cos its diesel but i always make sure i have over half a tank of fuel ive got no leaks ive added a cleaner to my fuel Â as i thought there mite of been crap in the fuel but it doesnt seem to of fixed it iam getting no management light flashing up I've checked the fuel pump that still works I've checked the pipes on the injectors for leaks and they seem to be all fine

Hi, could try replacing fuel filter element and (while the old one is out) check the filter housing/holder for water in the bottom.

Dont forget to hand prime (bubble pump) to replace the lost diesel in the filter housing (OR alternatively switch on ignition and allow 'lift' pump to do that) before cranking the engine

I've just changed the fuel filter I have had chance to test it I will let you know the out come on Friday and if it's still the same what could the problem be I know the fuel is passing so I can't put it down to lack of fuel

An update the problem is still there when driving iam not sure what to check next or where to go from here I changed the fuel filter and I made sure the filter housing was cleaned out before renewing the filter what ever is doing this it's not kicking the engine management light on

Could it be the high pressure fuel rail sensor playing up

heres a question how long can you run a car with the airflow meter disconceted cos ive taken the plug out and seems to be running smoother
