Can anyone help?
The thermostat on my 1994 405GLX failed open last weekend so I had a couple of very cold journeys before I could replace it. It's now replaced and the heater matrix pipes (in and out) heat up nicely but I still don't have any heat inside the car. The controls on the panel for air recirculation and Â air conditioning don't work and don't illuminate when pushed. Oddly, the digital clock on the same panel is still working but the display does not illuminate. The heater blower fan does work. It seems like there may be a common electrical problem but all the fuses are OK and the connectors (that I can find) seem secure.
Does anyone have any ideas? (I was going to say 'can anyone shed any light on the problem' but I decided it was too bad a pun.).

Well, I gave up and took it to my local independent Peugeot garage. It seems like the problem was a loose connection behind the heater control panel. All fixed and I now have a nice warm car again.
