Problem with power on stereo. » Audio / Sound » Peugeot Central

Hello all, i was hoping someone could help me solve an issue with power to my stereo.

Recently bought a 206 HDi and a Ripspeed DV740 to go in it. Had it all connected ok but realised that when i switched the ignition off, it would lose all the radio stations that were tuned in. To resolve this i swapped over the yellow (BATT) wire and the red (ACC) wire as per the manuals intructions but that created another problem.

Now when i return to my car all i have to do is use the central locking and the stereo turns on, screen opens but there is no sound.

Does anyone have any ideas of what i can do to resolve both issues?

Hi - Did you ever sort out the issue with regards to the Ripspeed DV740 and no sound. I too am having the same issue and it will not turn off. Just says bye bye. If you did could you possibly let me know how you resolved it?

Did either of you fix this?. I have made sure the mute cable isn't earthing on anything and all out of ideas?.

I brought a new bluetooth stereo for my car and was given all the adapters to connect it, but the only problem is the stereo won't turn on? There is a red wire which is for the ignition power but I have no idea where you install it? Can someone help please?
