hey i have a 2000 306 with rain sensor wipers they wont self cancel and work on full speed on auto i have had the motor out and apart and all the self canceling contacts seem fine ppl on web saying new motor but looking
at mine im wondering how this will help any help would be great as my head is wreaked

cheap option first

have you checked the wiper relay

next the wiper stalk

its normaly the relay that goes wrong if the wipers still work on the other settings

Cheers the infamous blue relay is not on my model have checked both purple rain sensors and are fine stalk seems good gona try a motor today in hope will let you know

Ok problem solved second hand motor from breakers and all is good cheers for help hope i can be of some in the future
