Hi all, has anyone ever had a problem with a slightly modified Mi16 sheering crankshafts? I have an Mi16 fitted to a 205 rally car and it is producing about 165 Bhp at the wheels but i have sheered 2 crankshafts in 18 months. The crank, flywheel, clutch, rods and pistons have all been balanced the first crank put a rod through on no4 cylinder, the second time it put one through no2 cylinder.
Also has anyone converted an Mi16 from a 1.9 to a 1.6 and what problems have you encountered?
