hi there ive just bouht a 55 reg 407 , its a lovely car but i got this message sayin particle filter at risk of clogging???
ive been to the main dealer and they want 625 to fix the problem .is there a cheaper alternative to this or do i just have to bite the bullet ??????

its got 97000 on at the moment, its only 1 month out of warrenty .ive left the car over the dealers but its not getting done till wednesday,
ive got all service history with it and s list of jobs thats been done to it ,i thought they may have serviced the filter before 97000 miles,

They wont service it only replace it.

At that mileage it is well beyond its typical life, the particulate fluid will be empty (if it hasnt been topped up).
