Hi, We have had our 207 SW Sport for 3 months and it has already been into the dealer around 6-7 times and been off the road for 12-15 days.

We have had various faults:

Seat belt sensors not working - lights coming on / off all the time but no-one sitting in the seats etc. Sensor replaced in rear
passenger seat but still have this problem!

Airbag fault light - comes on / off  at will.  No fault detected

Dash rattles like my old 1980's citroen AX.  Been looked at by Dealer, now better but still noisy on most roads.

Engine cutting out - happened around 6 times one evening while we were travelling about 50 miles.  No fault recorded on the
diagnostics.  Total loss of power experienced and the rev counter / speedo dials just dropped so had to get into the hard shoulder quickly to avoid getting into trouble.

Now the last 2 weeks in the cold weather the washer wipe fuse has blown 3 times and the dealer charged us £14 to look into it?!  Curiously another dealer looked at this for free.  Seems like a design fault after reading many similar posts here.
Other half is carrying fuses around with her in purse due to this.

This car seems to have a lot of electrical gremlins, never thought I would say this but I wish I had my old renault megane back  Rolling Eyes

I  would be interested to know if anyone else has had any experience (esp. the engine cut out issue) as my other half is pregnant
and we have lost all trust in this car.

Totally understand how you feel about the engine cutting out. Am having similar problems and at times it has been quite unnerving - I replied to a different forum discussion though:

If you get really stuck you can leave it with me.

You seem to have a high amount of problems but nothing out of the ordinary.

Gagder - Sounds like you have a similar problem, but our car will start again without any issue after it custs out, it is very unnerving as you say when this happens in the outside lane of a motorway or busy road.

Canyondust - Thanks For your offer,  we have returned the car to the Dealers we bought it from for investigation.
It  has been in for 2 weeks now, and on thursday they called to say that the car had cut out on them and have
identified a problem with the Ingition which they think has been causing it.  The part has to be specially ordered which
may take another 10 days. (The fault didnt show up on diagnostics).

We have been given a 58 plate 207 SW sport on loan and yesterday the same fault occurred on this car, was
doing 70 ish in outside lane, engine cut out suddenly  lost all assisted power and had some problems getting safely to the hard shoulder.

I am very concerned that this appears to be a very serious fault which I have now experieced in 2 different cars of the same model,
and this could result in someone being injured or involved in an accident.

Will be calling Peugeot and Dealer on Monday - we have lost all trust in these cars now.
I would advise anyone who has experienced engine cut outs to return the car for investigation
as it took us 4 attempts with different dealers for them to take a serious interest and not rely on the diagnostics.
