| Two weeks now with my 55 plate, ex Avis, 407SW 136 Hdi Xline. The dealer fitted new wiper blades for me as they were clunking annoyingly and they will put a new fan belt on as the puff of talcum powder to cure the squeaky belt didn't prove to be a long term solution. Pretty much an impulse buy but I'm really pleased with it. |

Yup,
Had a 407 2.7 HDi Coupe' since December 06.
Love the car, except for a few things such as :
Sat Nav is hopeless, map accuracy and NO post codes
Seat Belt could be better placed and easier to attach
Overly complicated dashboard
Turbo lag and slow to select gear from standstill
Engine and handling though - fantastic

407SW 3.0L for 18 months
and one old 2061.4L for 6 years
The power of this 407sw 3.0L is enough for me to enjoy driving.
Good looking, unique car in my country .
one problem is the AT fluid,
Although the fluid is a long life ATF,
even told me I don't need to replace the ATF. Who knows. |

Hi There ,i have just changd my old 306TD , had her 6 years a great car , for a 55 plate 407sw , bit strange at first with the size and rear vision , bit like looking down a tunnel but must say that after having her for four months very pleased with her , fuel consumption is good and ride relaxed , not as quick as the old 306 but quick enough for me , if I feel like a blast I borrow the wifes 206 quicksilver and that go's like s--t |
