Hi all,

I have a 2006  207S 1400cc 16V 90ps that I am currently repairing. It was crashed at the front by the previous owner.

The airbags have both been deployed, the display says that there is an ABS fault and the power steering is faulty.

I suspect that the reason for the abs fault was low brake fluid as the clutch slave cylinder was broken and this drained a lot of fluid from the reservoir. The brakes seem to be OK, I have repaired the clutch cylinder and filled the reservoir and bled the clutch, now OK.

The display still reports the ABS as faulty.

The power steering definitely doesn't work, I cant see why though, (checked the main power fuse to the steering), there was no mechanical damage to the steering rack.

Does the ecu require some kind of reset once the faults have been sorted out? I wondered if it's in some kind of default mode since the crash when several faults were recorded.

Can anyone shed any light on this?

Thanks,

martin

All now fixed, there were a few fuses missing from the underbonnet fuse box, replaced them and all now OK. I guess that someone had borrowed them before I bought it!

Cheers,

martin
