Any idea how to access the air filter in 307 sw 1.6 diesel hdi. Also any tips on removing the old and replacing with new?

Remove the sound proofing from upper side of engine bay.

If you remove the pipes the complete unit can be manovered out - otherwise unscrew the lid and do in situe.

I replaced the air filter a few weeks ago on my 1.6 hdi 407...should be the same as yours but the 407 has more space to work on it.... Smile

Here is a pic of the filter box with the turbo intake pipe been removed from turbo..the filter box sits on rubber locators which means it should pop up when the turbo intake pipe is removed.....Thats if you have space..... Wink
