Hi

I have recently purchased a 207cc, one "fault" that I have noticed is the interior door handle.

It appears to be loose, when pulling the door shut it lifts. I have checked the screw at the bottom of the handle but that is tight.
The passenger door is solid, so I assime something is possibly wrong.

Anyone got the same "fault" and has anyone got any idea how to stop the handle lifting.

Thanks

Do you mean the silver handing that you use to open the door? Near the very front of the door

Are you using this to close the door once inside?

The car is a two door.

The part I refer to is the component that also has the window controls towards the front of it ,and a recess towards the rear, which has a screw in the bottom.

It is only the recessed end that is loose, even though the screw is tight.
(It has not had the threads stripped.) .
By loose, I mean that when you pull the door to, it lifts about 5mm (1/4").

Thanks

Maybe take the window switch out and check that where the screw goes into is secure. Maybe pot rivot or bolt is loose on it. Best to remove the door trim to be sure.

Never found out what was wrong. Mentioned it when I took it in for service and guy said he removed and remounted door panel. Everything is now rock solid. No charge for work as car less than 3yrs old.
