Wondering if any one can shed some ligth for me. I have a 407 2.0d se hdi. The engine warning ligth has come on and depollution system failure. The fault code is p1435 also looked it up and it says something along line sof refridgante tempreture circuit ranger performance. Does any on have a clue what this means please

It means you have run low, or out of diesel particulate additive.

P1435 A/C Refrigerant Temperature Circuit Range/Performance

im new to the site and very interested in diagnostics im an old tech retired but still do the diagnostics as a way to save money ( dealer costs are ridiculous when its so simple to do yourself ) so hopefully I might be able to help Cool

P435 is nothing to do with her refrigerent on that vehcile.

And, I say this with other colleagues and co-workers in mind. Diagnostics is far from easy.  I've been at it over 10 years and never stop learning.

EDC15C2 - Additive system. Low additive level sensor fault.
EDC15C2 - Additive system. Fuel filler cap present sensor fault.

you missed a bit great site that one very informative Very Happy

quick edit* the EDC are other things that can cause that problem.

hi,,the code is as canyon has said.
nothing to do with a/con.

so i'd start looking at your pef ecu for parameters etc,,,

no a/con code would give you a de-polution fault anyway!!!

hi,,just to clear this up,,,,p1435 is a generic number and as such the a/con meaning has no bearing on psa specific edc engine management,which is what is relevant to this vehicle/post.

To other readers of this thread please pay particular attention to the 'professional' angle and responses from the likes of Toddy and myself.

EOBD 'codes' can get you up a rather nasty creek.

The experienced diagnostic engineeers would not that any EOBD code that is of the form P, C, U etc followed by 1xxx (where x is 1-9) means that the code is manufactuer specific. So P1012 is related to the PEF - Peugeot specific.
