Hi there
looked through most of the forums and can't find a solution to my problem so have decided to ask the question...... my apologises for asking the question if it has already asked and solved
i have a 307 hdi d-turbo, i had a prang in it and had to buy a new door... when i put the new door on and wired up the door... the electric window works fine when the button is pushed in the car..... but my car has the function of when you push and hold the lock button all the windows will close up ( this is refered to on a ford mondeo as global closing..... one of my previous cars ) unfortunately that function will not work since i put the door on..... the motor on the door is the one that came with my newish door that i got from ebay...... failing stripping my old door down for my original motor and fitting that one on the new door is the any way of setting the window up so it will close when the lock button is held.... also the old motor seems to have lost it setting on to where to stop as i goes up and gets to top of the door and retracts down abit as though something is in the way like a hand
thanks in advance any questions or if i have confused you lol please feel fre to contact me

Try dirving the window glass to the top.
Then hold the up button for about 5 seconds, that will reset the top position.
