Hi there, Im new to this form and was wondering if anyone knew of any issues with the Bluetooth connecting to phones in the 59 plate 207? I got my new car Tuesday, and have tried a few different phones to no avail.
Does anyone know if there is a workaround to this?

THanks in advance

Hi Thedelboy,
Had the same problem in August, took it back to dealer and they did the following which worked. Switch on the radio and leave volume low, disconnect the battery and leave car for about 15mins then re-connect battery. Get into car and do not touch the radio, power up Blue tooth on your phone again and it should give you the 'success' message on dash. You might have to use the four digit code on your phone which is 0000 , that's four zeros.
Apparently disconnecting the battery & re-connecting will re-set some of the required electronics for your Bluetooth connection.

Hope it works for you !

Had exactly the same problem.
Turn off engine, wait 2 mins.
Remove fuse no 8 (audio etc)  from passenger glove compartment.
(Bit fiddly.)
Wait 10-15 mins.
Put fuse back.
Turn on ignition, (Engine must not be running.)
Try again.
Sorted!
Hope this helps you.
Very Happy

I can vouch for removing fuse 8 for around 15 minutes. It worked great in my wife's car. It's worth noting that the fuses are not numbered in order but the numbers are moulded into the plastic under each location (you might need a torch to see). Fuse 8 is the only 20A one in the box.

+1 for the fuse fix.

Picked up a new 5008 on Saturday, exact same problem.
Had resigned myself to a trip to the garage this week when i seen his post.
Took out the fuse as described which is same in 207/5008 waited 15 mins
and happy days (scared the other half a bit when I started pulling stuff out
of her new car!)

Cheers for the tip

Hi
I have just got a 2010 Plate 207. My iphone shows the 207 on Bluetooth, the car shows my phone on the screen but they won't pair.

I looked for the fuse but i don't have a #8 fuse.

Any help would be appreciated.

Many thanks

Hi there

I've literally just bought a 10 plate 207 this week and the same is happening.. the bluetooth on both phone and car will see each other but they just will not pair... I know some phones are not supposed to be compatible but, I think one of mine is supposed to work and the system is just not having it. Sad

Exact same problem although when I try to select "perform Bluetooth search" I can't select the option because the letters are all broken up, not solid like the other 3 options above.
Tried the battery and the fuse option but no joy.
Anyone else with this broken letter option thing???please help I have tried everything
