I'm looking for some advice. The rear diode lights have stopped working on the passanger side of my 05 plate Peugeot 307 cc. I've taken it to the local Peugeot dealership today and to be honest they weren't sure if it was the full LED set that needed replacing or just the bulbs. Unfortunetly a mechanic wasn't available to asses it so I left it and thought I'd check it with my local garage.
What they were able to tell me was that if it is the full light that needs replacing it will cost £380 + labour!
The indicators and brake lights are still working fine.
Any ideas? |

Yes, it's just the side lights (both the boot part and body part)
Last 8 numbers are 84077209.
Thanks for your help. |

so quoting me to replace the whole light is incorrect?
Forgive my ignorance but essentially it's one bulb that sits behind a series of LED's?
Also it says in the manual that all diode lights must be replaced by Peugeot is that correct or should my local garage be able to do it? |

hi,,looking at the diagram you should have standard bulbs 4 in wing unit,3 in tailgate unit.
any garage or owner should be able to replace them.

Hi toddy, thanks for your advice.
Sorry to ask so many question but just a couple more...
1) I also noticed the rear fog light on the same side is not working, is it more than a coicidence that all of the bulbs would go at the same time? Could it be a fuse?
2) Assuming it is a bulb, whats the best way to get access to the back of the wing unit? |

hi dave,i'm not 100% but i don't think the ns has a fog in it?
just remove rear carpet trim aside to gain bulb access.

Hi toddy,
I've managed to pull the carpet aside but I can't see the bulbs. Looking at the lights closely I'm convinenced they're all little LED's.
Looks like I'm gonna have to folk out for full new lights! |
