Hey Everyone!
Would love your feedback on a quote I have got from a Peugeot Garage, does it sound a fair/decent price for the work? The quote I received was:
"There is the peugeot service which including a cambelt change would be £480.This includes brake fluid, spark plugs, oil & filter change as well as air filter. Plus fortes and top up oil."
Is that a fair price and anything else you can suggest checking at 90,000?
Thanks guy's!!!! |

Well mine will be up for the 96K service soon (307 SW 110 HDI 2002) and I was told it will need cambelt, fluids, filters, FAP, FAP oil ......... I think they said it was around £400-500 from memory. |

Thanks swebb and Mr_Cellexe you repys are really appreciated. I have advised the garage that I will have the service at £480. Apparently the Cambelt for my 02 16V 2.0 Auto engine should have been changed at 80,000 miles. Damn! Makes me really worried especially until it gets changed. Anyway, thanks so much for your feedback. |

Just popped into the dealership and asked about the 96K service on my 110 HDI 2.0 again and the service with cambelt is £364. Also they said I should get the FAP fluid topped up which would be extra. I asked them about replacing the FAP, the current one was put on at 48K. The service guy said they replace them with refurbished ones from Peugeot and they are around £300 !!!!!! However they said not to bother replacing it unless the ECU was complaining about it. |

If FAP gets blocked (i.e. UNBLOCK DIESEL FILTER shows up), and you are not afraid of a little DIY, check here
EDIT by Cellexe: cleaned up that url. Maxtorathome's blog. very good DIY job there. |
