hiya all I bought a 307 2.0 hdi 110bhp with a conrod through the block having has 2 306 hdi I was very excitied at the purchase I will post photos of the car soon.
I have since replace the engine and on test drive the information display informed me the partical filter was blocked, this has since been booked in a peugeot and had a regen and cleared .

However the car is still no right , i have no boast the car is slow will do 70 mph but a 1.1 fiesta would be quicker. Ive got no lights on the dash and the car starts great. Ive changed the air mass meter no difference.

I did replace the cambelt water pump and tensioner kit on the engine before fiiting it , so was wondering if the timing could be wrong .

Any one had any ideas cud the DPF still be blocked not allowing turbo to spool , could the turbo be seized or may I have one of the many vac hoses which go the 4 solenoids on the front of the block wrong , any ideas would eb great.

Is the filter the original?
How many miles had it done?

Is the replacement engine the same code?
Same fuel injection system?

I dont think the timing can be wrong if it runs and starts okay.

Is the fuel system off the new engine or the old?

Hiya thanks for you help ive no idea if its the orginal filter , the car has done 68k and the engine that I fiited to the car has doen 42k . All the fuel system is exactly the same , engine fitted is def the 110bhp motor, the fuel system is off the new engine , I have heard that maybe the injectors will need replacing , I didnt swop the injectors as on had been damaged by the piston smashing in to it.
Thanks in advance

I dont see it being injector related.

Be worth double checking the engine codes to ensure it really is identical.

Its possible its related but far from definitive.

I assume you are talking about the EGR electro solenoids?
And if so there should be three not four.

Ive since found out the car is ain safe mode which cause no boost , passenger airbag light to be on , and juddering engine , and also the injectors will need to be programmed to the ECU. which hopefully will sort everything out
