Confused Hi all, I have recently purchased a 307 SW 110 hdi se on a 53 plate, it's a lovely car but last week a warning light came up on the dash and a notice "Anti Pollution Fault", the vehicle then went into a 'limp home' mode where the engine will not go over 2.5k revs. I have booked it into a peugeot dealer to be looked at , as the car is still under warrenty, however yesterday i came out in the morning and started the car....no fault warning beep, no lights or warning signs and the engine is running ok now.
Anyone had any experiance of this kind of fault before.

Cheers

Welcome to pug central Gaz

Hmm i have a 307SW 110 like yours and i havent had this issue, but i have read a few reports from others that have

see
http://www.whatcar.co.uk/car-review-readers.aspx?RT=325

a few reviews on there state they have had pollution warning lights come up and problems with the sensor, must be a fairly common fault.

Looking forward to hearing what your dealer has to say about the fault Smile

Hello,

i have had problems with this issue, garage changed MAF, EGR and other bits apparently, was ok for a few weeks than did it again,
wouldnt rev above 2500 so i opened the bonnet and wobbled any connection i could see, while tweaking the throttle, got hold of the connection from what i think was the fuel pressure sensor and back it came, so cleaned ALL connections with WD40 3 weeks ago and not had a problem since, hope this helps

I had this fault with my 307 1.4 2005 model.  The anti-pollution light came on but the car was running fine, the next time i turned the car on the engine was literally bouncing up and down and i coudnt get past 3,000 revs.
This morning i took it to peugeot as it was still under warranty, they checked my car and just downloaded some new software onto the ECU, i still dont know why it messed up in the first place.

Anyways i have the car back and its running fine, i still think its a bit sluggish in second gear, i dont remember it being that bad.

i had to take my car back in again today as the anti pollution light came on again.

I found out that my coil pack had gone/burnt away.  They replaced this with a new pack.  Car seems to be working fine, if there is any more problems i will let u know.

I have just had this problem and the garage (not peogot) pluged in the diagnostic tester and that came  up with a fault code on the computer (ECU) This refered to a throttle sensor which they changed @ around £60 plus labour and so far it is OK. It is a diesel HDI 1.9

i have had this fault too, they looked at it and said it was a bit of dirt on the sensor.  However the car has been very sluggy since, nothing like it used to be
