Hi
I have a Peugeot 307 SW 1.6i petrol ( 52 plate) that I have owned for 5 years which has just developed the following fault:
About 10 minutes after I switch off the engine and lock the car, the headlights come on and if left, run down the battery.. As well as this, the warning lights on the dash board all come on.
When I unlock the doors, the headlights and warning lights go out and the car will start as normal.
To prevent the battery from going flat I have to disconnect the positive terminal.
Any clues as what the root of the problem is would be much appreciated.
Has anyone experienced this or similar? If so, what was the fix?
