hi, i own a 307 hdi 2l and the year is 2001, i needed to change my rear normal driving light and my front right side light. i changed the bulbs fine, i then went to turn my engine on and it wont start, the starter motor is rockin the engine trying to fire it up but im getting nothing. the panel just reads ECONOMY MODE ACTIVE

WHY CANT I START MY ENGINE?
HOW CAN I GET AROUND THIS?

my car is needed as my wife is pregnant, any help wud be much appreciated

usually the economy mode active sign means that you're running low on battery, but if car doesnt start i suggest you take a look at the fuel pump motor, i had the problem and got it fixed and now the car works like a charm
other possible problems
engine oxygen sensor (highly unlikely though)

feul pump motor, is thgat an expensive job? the car was running fine until i was changing the bulbs! think i may have touch a wire or something!

i have tried charging the battery to and nothing1

well i have found the problem, all it was is a blown fuse, it was the engine immobilizer fuze was blown, quickly changed it and it was fine, running like a dream now

glad to hear that
and no fuel pump motor is cheap, even though i have a 2003 model car i used a 2005/2006 fuel pump motor as a replacement Very Happy
