Hey guys, just bought my first car a 2001 306 2.0 HDi 90 and havin a few problems with it, got money knocked off for them...

it seems there's a bit of a leak above the windshield and the car interior was damp, a new seal should solve this but other problems im having, i assume derive from the water coming in to the car...

the indicators won't work, left or right... the lights themselves work on the hazards but the stalk doesnt engage the indicators, no noise or click at all... there is also a problem with the wipers, they do not work on the lowest setting, and on the higher settings do not return to the bottom of the windshield when you turn them off, they just stop wherever they are.

Oh and the radio seems to be problematic, it'll come on and you get static but it doesnt pick up any channels as if it's not connected to the aerial

I'm hoping this may be a small problem such as a fuse damaged by the leak but was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to solve these probs

water leaks
do you have a sun roof
leaks come from the areial aswell
or the door sills

most common is the areial

easy way to find out wich one

open the sunroof in each corner at the front ois a hole pour the water down it
does the inside get wet by the top of the window

have a look inside the door feel the carpet to see if thats wet

im having similar problem with 206 1.9L diesel Wreg (2000).Indicators wont work from stalk but hazards do work also wipers work but dont switch off right away and stop in the middle of the window. i havent got a sunroof and doesnt seem to have a leak anywhere. Any ideas any one? Idea

Got the same problem with my wipers, i think the wiper problem could be a faulty relay (see my post) so try the relay for your indicators if not try replaceing the stalk should be cheap from a scrapy.
Where the stalk enters the steering colum it hits a little bit of plastic that locks the stalk in its left or right position, this could have snaped off check this to.
