Hi. Hopefully someone can help as im a bit stumped. I am trying to repair a friends 55 plate 206 sw 1.4 8v and it has sheared the teeth on the cambelt Sad (no antifreeze in -9, silly girl)
I have sourced a replacement head as her valves were bent and would cost more to repair the old head. Also got all the new bits like gaskets and belts and waterpump. Problem im going to come across is timing it up as there does not appear to be timing marks on the crankshaft. Is it just a matter of getting piston one to TDC and using a 10mm tool to lock camshaft? Just worried a bit about putting it back together and being 180 wrong. Thanks in advance. Smile
