Hi there - first post, so it has to be a problem with my 207.

Just had an error message on the car computer "Depollution system faulty" so booked it in for a check in a few days time.
Seen a few other similar posts with varying outcomes, some pretty scary!
Anyone had similar problems with their 207, if so what was the the outcome and will I be off the road for any length of time? Car's only a year and half old, but doesn't normally get used on three consecutive days every week - could this be root of problem?

Any help much appreciated - cheers!

hope you got warranty there!

book it in and get it looked at, cos something is not right here. 14k should have no issues at all really.

Cheers, booked in for Friday.
Will post outcome of this.
Fairly sure I'm covered under 3 year warranty (although your comment about that worried me a bit!), but no doubt they'll try and find something that they can charge for that's not included in the warranty.

Well the root cause of my 'depollution system faulty' warning message was the oxygen sensor(s) were needing replaced and that seems to have sorted the problem. The downside was it took the garage almost 6 hours to work this out!

Garage didn't tell me too much about what that meant, so had to look it up on internet when I got home.

So for the less technically minded (like me) who may experience this problem with their car, these sensors are connected to your exhaust and gauge whether the mixture of fuel and air reaching the engine is correct. Can affect the performance of your car although may not necessarily result in a breakdown (for a while at least) if you don't get it fixed right away.

Thanks to Mr Cellexe for his interest in my problem.
