#1: check engine oil level flashing Author: ash7990, Posted: Mon 29 Dec, 2008 12:49 am so my girlfriends mum has a 56 reg 307 2.0 HDi, 58k miles on the clock.
Apparantly its started flashing 'check engine oil' or something whenever it is started up - does it about 3 times then stops.
If its low on oil, then why? on such a new engine? and if its not low on oil then why is it flashing up?
Thanks.

Check oil level
This message appears when start engine and disappear after 10 seconds
I checked the oil level it was normal then I replace the oil but not replace the oil filter
The message still appears
After 200 kilometer the message disappear
Then after 2 day it appears again
Please reply me with your opinion
thanks

If its low - top it up.
If it is full - it may require a new oil level sensor
