09 partner,anti pollution warning

A few weeks ago my 09 reg partner e/m light came on.The digital panel keeps telling me that this is a anti pollution fault.I have read other posts on this site same fault on cars not vans.Ihave tried what was suggested driving in 3rd gear at 50 mph for miles to clear some filter.this seemed to work for only a few days then light back on.Now the van keeps pulling back and losing power mainly when changing gears to go round corners.Does anyone have any advice for me plz?

407 1.6 HDi - Engine powers off

I have a 2005 Peugeot 407 1.6 HDi. The car while running smoothly, suddenly switches off either when stopping (for example at traffic lights) or just before that whilst driving at a very very low speed and not in gear. Once the problem occurs, the engine won't start up again until roughly one hour passes by. The problem has been ongoing for more than a month and has been at the workshop at least 6 times. When the car is connected on the diagnostic computer, it doesn't display any error at all. All readings seem to be just normal. The mechanics have replaced the turbo valve and the regulator on the diesel high pressure fuel pump. In addition to this, they have added diesel fuel cleaner and cleaned the inlet using a spray.
The problem has not been resolved and I am now avoiding driving the car as I can not trust it any more, eventhough it was a great car until the problem occured. I would appreciate if someone can give me a hint of what may be the problem.
Thanks.

Cooling fan not cutting in

Hi everyone
I'm new to the whole forum thing, was just wondering if anyone can help me. I have a peugeot 206 1.4 petrol which is overheating because the fan is not cutting in. So far I have:

-Hotwired the fan, it powered up okay

-replaced the terminals on the relays as they were rusty

-removed and tested both the relays-they are ok

-removed the relay casings. When I close the relay myself the fan powers up. I discovered that there is no earth to the relay (I ran a wire from the earth terminal on the relay directly to earth and the relay closed and powered up the fan

- knowing all this I figured the temp switch must be a switched earth, so I bridged directly to earth but it didn't power up the fan as I hoped.

Does anyone have any ideas what I should check now? Would really appreciate the help as electrics isn't my strongest point and I don't have money for a mechanic.
Thanks

Boot Unlocking Issue

If you remove the plastic cover on the inside of the glass, you will find two very thin cables connected with a contact. I would guess one of them are loose or broken.
