| Hi guys I'm new to the forum after years away lol. Basically I'm really struggling and running out of cash on a problem I have.
Iv got a 2002 pug 106 independence iv spent loads recent for the mot but 1 things really becoming a pain
My drivers side bearing keeps buggering up iv had 3 bearings fitted and I'm not joking within 2 miles the wheels wobbling like hell lol.
Anyway yes I have changed the driveshaft on both sides previous to the bearing going and the passenger side is fine, the drivers side is the same as the 1 I took off apart from the threads being a bit longer? Oh and has abs but was stated is for both abs and non abs? Ok now to add more confusion, I took the strut off and investigate and I noticed the hub wasn't in all the way so I hit it back in (I used socket and wood) and the play went away. Fixed then?? Nope does the same after a mile or so, so is the driveshaft supposed to hold it all in or is my driveshaft wrong (even tho is tapered like the last) but the threads are slightly longer ( the shaft is the same length tho).
Sorry for dribbling on I just wanted to make sure I give enough info
My cars been off the road now 3 weeks I'm desperate to sort this
Thanks in advance
Oh and the bearing is not damaged when the play is there
